Well after 267 miles on the road today, we all got back safe and sound.  We had a great, if short, trip to the coast.  Even though it rained nearly constantly we had a GREAT time. 

The picture above was one of the first from the trip.  This was a lovely little beach called Sunset beach.  It was very protected from the harsh seas and made for a great experience.  Grace and her son were still coming down from the car and I snapped this pic.  Pictures like that make this whole photography thing seem easy…

I really got to take some pictures which I really needed to take.  I also got break in my d90 which I dearely love now.  I took nearly 300 pictures, 32 of which I have uploaded to my gallery here. As I go through the pictures a second time, I am sure I will be posting more.
