If you read my about me page you have at least an idea as to what I do. If you did not read that page(SHAME!) I will give a rundown below.

     I am a computer consultant, also called a Computer Tech, IT guy, Mr. Fix it, “My Hero”, computer dude, etc. When asked what I do I generally say “yes” as there is not much, when it comes to the field of computers, that I can not do. Since you want a list though, here you go:

• Solutions for any kind of computer problem, hardware or software
• Network design and implimentation
• Web design(Hey, you are lookin at it!)
• Fault tolerant backup strategies
• Training in most commonly used programs
• Cleanup of Virus and Adware/Spyware/Malware infections
• A friendly voice to talk to

     As I have said before, it is not easy to write about yourself let alone list what you do! I KNOW there is more than would fit on this list. I just can not think of how to describe them properly.

Rates:

     Oh no, here comes the painfull section. Actually, I personally don’t think it is THAT painfull but I’m not the one paying me to fix my computer. Did I just refer to myself in the 4th person? Hmm… Odd. Anyway, have you ever called in a computer guy just to have them show up in a stuffy suit, have zero people skills and then charge you $175/hour without even telling you what the problem was or what they had to do to fix it? Well, of course, I have not but I have heard horror stories.

     For all computer work I have a flat rate of $60 per hour in 15 minute increments. Please see my photography section of this site for information on how I charge for those services. I do not charge driving time since I think it is RIDICULOUS to pay somebody to drive. I generally do not require payment immediately except for when large hardware purchases are required.

     I do not feel my rates are “low”, I feel they are fair. One of the first rules of good business is to treat your customers like people. Sounds simple but you would be surprised how rarely that happens. Besides, at my rates you are more likely to call me when problems are still small and can be fixed quickly and easily.
